Happy to say that I got to give my first game audio presentation recently at IGDA Boston, also known as Boston Post Mortem. I talked about field recording and spoke to other game developers about how to record their own original sound effects without resorting to free sound libraries and using their own creative skills in the sound design process. Sharing knowledge has been a fantastic cultural aspect of gaming meetups, and I found it only fair to be able to share some game audio knowledge to other developers.
Here is the recording of the presentation.
